Visitor reviews

“This lovely and peaceful camping site was able to let me pitch up my tent on late arrival. I was only one on entire field. With outdoor hot shower, clean toilet (portable) I had everything what I needed for that night as a bikepacker. Friendly host Marcus and his family left entirely positive experience for my stay.” Milan Sulek
“A lovely, peaceful camping experience. We stayed in the cabins which are basic but, because the beds were so comfortable, had that touch of luxury. There's a basic kitchen, washing up area, and plenty of seating. We thoroughly enjoyed the animals! From the campsite you can access Oxford, Stratford and the Cotswolds easily. Delightful!” Matt Corby
“A wonderfully peaceful stay at Wolford Wood. The campsite is situated beside a large wild woodland and the facilities are top notch. There are toilets, showers, washing up facilities and even fridges to store your food. Overall a massively relaxing location away from the hustle and bustle of the city.” Ash
“This is a great little campsite. It was peaceful and the facilities were great. The owners and staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. They have a large amount of land with a forest on it, which you can wander around. I will be returning for one of the other events they have on during the year.” Dav B
“We had a lovely peaceful stay! On arrival Marcus greeted us at the gate where you enter by the house with adorable dogs in tow. He is really friendly (and so are the dogs!). I really enjoyed the wildness of the camping and being able to build fires which I haven’t been able to do at a campsite since camping as a child in Europe.” Tamara
“Me and my friend booked the day before expecting it to be packed here. Although we were the only people in the campsite. It’s really peaceful and in the morning you can hear the animals waking up. Marcus was extremely helpful and very friendly on the phone. This is an excellent visit. Thank you very much.” Ben Humphries
“The campsite is in a lovely quiet area which has lots of walks around the surrounding countryside. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained. The camping field was huge with long grass. Means you can camp anywhere, but you may have to squash the grass down first.” Hannah Wild
